Amman, June 1st 2008 CEO of Shabakat Al Ordon Dr. Rami Al-Karmi released the results' dashboard of Shabakat Al Ordon. The results statement read as follows:
Since 2006, Shabakat Al Ordon has empowered 4,760 beneficiaries by incubating 956 life transforming projects through enabling 162 young people including 90 females to provide around 38,735 man days in 146 locations across local communities. [June 2008]
Worthy of note is that Shabakat Al Ordon is a not-for-profit limited liability company incorporated in Jordan in 2005 with a mission to drive and implement transformational strategies that improve the economic and social well-being of local communities. Shabakat Al Ordon centers its strategies on local youth, who are enabled with technical, professional and facilitation skills in order to empower people, build communities of practice, and incubate initiatives that respond to their community needs through the integration of information and communication technologies in their day-to-day lives.
